The times when I have loved God the most were the times when I realized how much he loved me; my love for God is a response.

The verses are adapted from “Connecting with God” (aka “The Four Spiritual Laws” or “Four Fantastic Facts”), which is a common 4-point framework for summarizing the Gospel. (There’s one verse for each “Law.”)

The “guitar” sound at the beginning is a ukulele with distortion, doubled down an octave.
